WORKING WITH SCHOOLS TO CREATE INCOME THROUGH FUNDRAISING
State School Fundraising are an independent educational consultancy who work with Multi Academy Trusts to generate income through adopting best practice fundraising. The Covid -19 pandemic has highlighted the gross inequalities that exist within the education system and there has never been a greater need for all schools to engage in fundraising to support those in need within their local communities.
We working on the premise that;
- educational fundraising should not be the preserve of only independent schools and universities
- all children should have access to the best possible academic, sporting and performing arts facilities regardless of background
- philanthropy will help enable this to happen if we acknowledge that it can be defined as ‘the act of transforming the social well-being of others through generosity’
- our knowledge of creating a Foundation will help MAT's implement best practice fundraising

WHY INVEST IN FUNDRAISING?
1. To counter cuts in educational budgets; Independent Schools raise on average £667,000 per year , with more than 25 raising in excess of £1,000,000 per year
2. To undertake projects which enhance school facilities
3. To run campaigns which support those in need within the local community
WHO WOULD DONATE?
Alumni who have done well and current parents. Both groups would be receptive to supporting a school if the case for support was compelling , realistic and relevant to them.
We believe that giving is a transformational experience where an individual manifests their aspirational self. In other words they use the act of donating as a mechanism for actualising and acknowledging the person they want to be. We are inspired to give because we relate to the cause and we want to make an impact. We want the narrative we support to come from an authentic storyteller, not an individual trying to achieve their monthly KPI’s.
Donors expect transparency, inclusion and demonstration of impact. They want to be told a story that is relevant to their lives and see an opportunity to create tangible impact.
